About the room
Are you an easy-going, fun-loving person - with a sense of humor, seeking a new home for the new year?
Are you into being healthy (vegan/vegetarian) and enjoy yoga, art, and music?
If so, I would love to meet you. I am interested in living with a friend, not just a roommate.
The layout of the apartment makes for plenty of privacy. Your room is on the right side of the front room (mine is on the left) and you have your own bathroom that has a shower/tub and 2 sinks. Our apartment is on the 3rd floor so we get exercise taking groceries home, and we get to walk into a beautiful cathedral ceiling open front room/kitchen with wood floors.
And as my new friend, you are paying less than half with the $777 rent - that also includes gas, electric, and fast internet service and the apartment complex has a workout weight room and a wonderful pool/hot tub. There is a garage where you can store some things and I have a storage space too, if you need it. You can furnish your room, but the rest of the home is kept spacious on purpose. I also have a small food garden growing on the balcony that has a couple of gliding rocking chairs to sit on and chill.
About me: I am an active middle-aged woman who is a Qigong Sound Healing practitioner, an Asian Bodywork Therapist from Five Branches University of TCM, and learned Medical Qigong from Mantak Chia and Lee Holden L.Ac. I have friends as clients coming for treatments, not strangers, and not often (and treatments can be included.) One of the 2 rooms on that side, is my clinic.
Do you play music too? I am also a singer/songwriter and record my songs/edit my music videos. And I am also a painter (the front room is my gallery;-). I am a full-time student earning my master's in Art Education, at Academy of Art University and developing Community Building Art Classes with Interpersonal Skills that I did with students (K-9) and a whole inner city school became good friends. It was amazing, and now I am seeking to get this into our schools to heal them from lockdowns. CoCreative Arts and Communications offers students Art classes with humanities concepts and friendship and collaboration skills for community building. Speaking of which, I love to cook healthy (vegan/vegetarian) meals and have occasional gatherings where you can invite friends too or have one of your own.
You can move in Jan 1st, yet if you need it sooner that is possible. When you respond, please text me your name, what you do for a living, and a little about your interests, and why this ad appeals to you - as well as the best time for us to meet. I am 420 friendly, and pretty chill, and looking for someone who enjoys life, is a good communicator, and is seeking a beautiful home to share.
I look forward to meeting you.
